Capas combines issues of immigration, migration, and family heirlooms into textile patterns and interactive installation; it includes collage and hand-stitched prints as well. Capas focuses on my grandmothers who were full Mexican and fully Irish. This series has been exhibited in several galleries including the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK and Marshall Arts Gallery in Memphis, TN.
